On Wednesday, Everton striker Moise Kean decided to remove any trace of his affiliation to the Merseyside club from his social media. The move seemed to indicate that the 21-year-old forward was on his way out.

The youngster spent last season on loan at French giants PSG, where he scored 17 goals in all competitions, playing alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Inter Milan could make a move for Everton striker Moise Kean this summer, according to Sky in Italy.

Many, including the player himself, expected him to make the move to Paris a permanent one this summer. However, the arrival of one of the best players to ever grace a football pitch Lionel Messi makes a return to the French club unlikely.

The forward has now also been linked with a big-money move to Italian champions Inter as a replacement for former Toffee’s hotshot Romelu Lukaku, who is in London for a medical ahead of completing a return to Chelsea.

There was a theory amongst Evertonian’s that Kean could be given a chance this season, as the Merseysider’s are not exactly blessed with that many striking options. However, Kean’s strange decision to remove Everton from his social media has led to fans believing that his exit is now inevitable.

The Toffee’s have been hamstrung in their efforts to strengthen their squad by FFP rules. The rules have led to the only summers arrivals being Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend on free transfers and winger Demarai Gray for a fee of around £2m.

However, the Toffee’s have glaring weaknesses in their team and squad. Any money raised from Kean’s sale would certainly be a welcome boost to the club’s meagre transfer budget.

Kean may develop into a top player in the future, but it is clear that the player and the Merseysider’s are a bad fit.

It would likely benefit both parties if they parted ways and the sooner the better.
