On Saturday evening, Monchengladbach host Stuttgart at Borussia Park, as both teams look to build on more promising results of late in the Bundesliga.

New Monchengladbach head coach Adi Hutter has not exactly experienced a stellar start as Foals boss, as his team currently sit in tenth place in the Bundesliga table.

However, back-to-back league wins in tough games against Dortmund and Wolfsburg. In fact, they have now won three of their last four matches in the Bundesliga, which could lead to much better things in the near future.

The victories have moved the home team to within two points of the Europa League qualification spots. They are also just five points outside the Champions League berths in the Germany top-flight.

The Foals also have a solid recent record on home soil in the German top-flight of late, as they have won five of their last seven home games in the Bundesliga.

Those recent home matches have been relatively high-scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in five of the seven matches in the German top-flight.

Stuttgart were a breath of fresh air last season after promotion. However, the visitors have found this season slightly tougher.

There has been mitigating circumstances, though as injuries, especially to key attacking players has hampered their campaign thus far.

There are signs that the visitor’s fortunes are about to turn around though, as they have now taken four points from their last two Bundesliga games.

A 3-1 home win over Hoffenheim last time out ended a five-game run without a win in the German top-flight for Pellegrino Matarazzo’s team.

Stuttgart’s recent away form has not helped their cause, as the visitors have won just one of their last eight matches on their travels in the Bundesliga.

PlusBet.net predicts that this clash will produce a low-scoring draw, which may be a frustrating result for both teams.
