One team that has made an impressive start to the new Bundesliga campaign is Wolfsburg under new head coach Mark van Bommel.

On Saturday afternoon, the Wolves unbeaten record in the German top-flight will be put to the test by a trip to Hoffenheim.

The home team started the Bundesliga campaign with a 4-0 win at Augsburg. However, their form has slipped in recent weeks in the German top-flight, as they have now failed to win in four matches in the league. A 0-0 draw at Arminia Bielefeld last time out also means they have failed to score in back-to-back matches.

Prolific Croatian forward Andrej Kramaric has yet to score a Bundesliga goal this season, which by the standards he has set in recent seasons is surprising.

Despite that recent dip in league form, Hoffenheim have lost just once in their last six Bundesliga matches at the PreZero Arena. That one defeat was in a 2-0 loss against Mainz in their last home match in the German top-flight.

Wolfsburg have started life under their new boss in a consistent manner. The Wolves are unbeaten in the Bundesliga, having recorded four wins and a draw.

A 1-1 home draw with Eintracht Frankfurt ended a four-game winning run in the German top-flight for the visitors.

Their stellar form has Wolfsburg level on points with reigning champions Bayern Munich at the top of the nascent Bundesliga table.

Netherlands international striker Wout Weghorst looks set for another fruitful campaign in the Bundesliga, as the 29-year-old has now scored three goals in five league appearances this season.

Wolfsburg have a good recent away record in the Bundesliga, having won four of their last six league games on their travels.

PlusBet.net predicts that Wolfsburg will record a win in a high-scoring encounter to keep pace with reigning champions Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga.
